Is This You?
You are creative.
Whatever work you do, whatever line of life you’ve ended up in, creativity plays a core role in your life.
But you can’t make it work.
You are creative with lots of ideas. You know what you want to do but that can change from day to day or from month to month.
Whatever catches your attention becomes the full focus of your life – for a while. Then you lose interest or move on.
You no longer know what your purpose is or what you are passionate about.
You are interested in many different things but you can’t stick to any of them.
You start things with great excitement and then lose interest.
You have a fear of starting because you fear you will only get bored and quit.
You have more ideas than you can deal with, if you could only bring them to fruition you would be unstoppable.
You feel your ideas are blocking you, they are piling up, tumbling over each other.
Thinking about projects brings you pleasure, but you know you need to choose a place to start, to knuckle down and make some progress.
You know you shouldn’t get distracted by your latest idea, but you can’t help it and you end up spinning your wheels.
You make huge progress, everyone is impressed and wants to support you, but then you lose interest and block yourself.
Try as you might, your work is not happening.
You feel you’re frittering your life away.
That you start things but never finish them.
That you have so much potential but always undermine yourself.
That you are too impulsive for your own good.
Anxiety undermines your work.
You ignore paperwork and todo lists.
You can’t keep to a plan – in fact a plan makes you feel ill or anxious.
You’re overwhelmed.
You are not alone but sometimes it is good to be alone, to focus on yourself and what you have done, what you will do.
I can’t cure you, I don’t want to cure you. I want to help you understand your life, how it ebbs and flows.
I want to help you to recognise what you are doing as you do it, as the original thoughts occur to you.
I will help you to learn using your life so far as a guide. Because if you can’t recognise what you’ve been doing, how will you change what you do?
My approach is to look at the common factors which underlie your unease and your inability to deliver consistently.
My aim is to demonstrate that your creativity comes from something very powerful and you can use it in your own unique way, but you have to learn to recognise what you are doing and why
If you want to discuss your situation please book a free Zoom meeting.
